Great product but a few remarks.
1. I was surprised that the manual had no mention that one had to remove the plastic wrap on the filters. It was only mentioned at the bottom of an inserted card. I can see where it could easily be missed.
2. I was disappointed that there was no slow fan speed on the unit. We have the unit in a smaller room in our house and the lowest fan speed is way too much!
I believe in the technology. Other than when we are cooking something its sensors indicate we are between 0 - 2. When we cook it may get up to 50 for a few minutes and then its back down again. Some homes may have more of an issue but apparently we already have good air in our house almost all the time.
Good looking unit, quiet, confident the dual Hepa 14 filters are working hard to keep the air clean. I had several questions that were promptly answered. Researched the competition for several months, pleased with my purchase.
I have another air filter and my lichen air is superior over that one. It’s quieter, has a sleep mode and a particle monitor. Thank you!
It is quiet, but I’ve not shown any PM-2 since I turned it on. Is it still worth running if no particulate shows on the readout?
I was a little disappointed to see after I purchased the unit that the air quality in my home is actually very good. The unit has never changed color from green to orange or red. Maybe I didn't need it after all. That having been said, I still think it is helping to remove other contaminants, so I plan to continue to use it.
The Lichen Air Purifier is fantastic! I sleep better with it in the bedroom! It really seems to freshen the air in a healthy way! I highly recommend it!
